The attacks on the Sri Lankan cricketers has raised many concerns about the Pakistani establishment and of course, the effect it will certainly have on the game.
Everyone has been shocked and grieved by such terrorist attacks on sportsmens, of all people.
Amitabh Bachchan is not alone when he says on his blog:
And while we work we heard the news of the terror attack on the Sri Lankan
Cricket Team in Lahore as they were going to the Stadium to play their match
against Pakistan. Horrid !!We all live in an uncertain and strange world. We
all live in suspicion and doubt. We live without trust and belief. We also live
in strength and defiance. In resolve and in peace and we all desire that the
rest of the world believes in that too..Faith and trust begets faith and trust. I would like to believe that. But in today’s times and conditions does it really present itself in belief. I have doubts.
